Hardware is billed at cost + 20% markup (15% on systems over $1,000). Client-supplied hardware: standard install fee applies; no warranty on client gear.

If we installed it and it's a genuine equipment failure, warranty service is free for 12 months (labor only; hardware warranty follows the manufacturer). If it's user error or a change of mind, standard rates apply.
Discounts & Bundling
- Audit credit: your $199 audit is fully credited toward any project booked within 30 days — the audit becomes free in effect.
- Multi-service bundle: 10% off when 3+ service lines are booked together (e.g., thermostat + doorbell + locks).
- Referral credit: $50 off your next service for both you and your referral, credited after the referee's first paid job.
- Senior discount (65+): 10% off labor.
- First-responder / teacher / military: 10% off labor.
- No stacking: one discount per invoice — bundle, referral, or senior — not all three.
Pricing Policies
- Minimum service call: $119, applied to the first hour of any onsite visit.
- Quotes valid 30 days. Fixed quotes require scope sign-off; changes during the job = change order with written approval before extra work.
- Cancellation: free up to 24h before your window; $50 fee inside 24h; no-show = full minimum fee.
- Payment: 50% deposit books projects over $500; balance due on completion (before the training session ends). Hourly/support visits billed same-day. Cash, check, and credit/debit accepted.
- Hardware warranty: 12-month labor warranty on our installs; device warranties follow the manufacturer — we help file claims.
- Referred out: line-voltage electrical work (licensed electrician), plumbing-adjacent work, rekeying (locksmith), structural mounting beyond standard surfaces, and whole-home AV theater builds (partner).
